An adaptive reuse and rebirth to the previous Farmer’s Coop, Southyard re-envisions a post-industrial agricultural site to a mixed-use destination at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and South School Avenue. The site will incorporate the existing structures while adding new modern structures to accommodate multifamily and commercial uses. This property links the emerging Cultural Arts District and the University of Arkansas Art and Design District along with the thriving South Fayetteville neighborhood.
The Razorback Greenway runs along the west side of the property, linking to the westward Tsa-La-Gi Trail. The project will include a parkland component featuring streamside restoration and passive recreational opportunities for residents, visitors, and trail users.
