BENTONVILLE, AR – CEI Engineering Associates, Inc. (CEI) is proud to announce the launch of its new Construction Administration Department, a strategic expansion designed to enhance project delivery, protect design intent, and meet the growing expectations of clients and municipalities nationwide.
The Construction Administration Department reflects CEI’s commitment to continuous improvement and client service. As project demands increase and industry standards evolve, CEI recognized the need for a focused team dedicated exclusively to oversight during the construction phase. Rising municipal demand, expanding workloads, and advancements in construction technology made this the right time to formalize and strengthen these services under dedicated leadership.
“The construction phase is where planning becomes reality,” said John Trahan, the newly appointed Department Manager. “By establishing a specialized team focused on construction administration, we are reinforcing our commitment to quality, accountability, and delivering projects the way they were designed and intended.”
The new department strengthens CEI’s overall service offerings by improving quality control, reducing risk, and creating a more seamless project experience. With focused oversight, enhanced communication, and earlier identification of construction issues, clients can expect greater consistency and predictability throughout the lifecycle of their projects.
The Construction Administration Department will provide comprehensive services including construction observation and field reporting, submittal and RFI management, change order documentation, punch lists and project closeout, constructability reviews, client and municipal coordination, pay application review, as-built documentation support, drone site documentation, and warranty walkthroughs.
