CEI’s new Construction Administration Department provides dedicated support throughout the construction phase to protect design intent, reduce risk, and maintain clear communication among all project stakeholders. The team focuses on proactive oversight, detailed documentation, and responsive coordination to help clients achieve predictable project outcomes. A significant part of this work includes early constructability review, which helps identify potential conflicts before construction begins and improves alignment between the design team and contractors.
During active construction, the department monitors progress through routine site observation, detailed reporting, and consistent communication with contractors, project managers, and clients. The team manages submittals, RFIs, pay applications, change orders, and record keeping to ensure that each item is addressed accurately and in a timely manner. CEI also develops punch lists, coordinates closeout activities, and assists with compliance procedures required by authorities having jurisdiction. These services create a streamlined construction process supported by transparent documentation and reliable quality assurance.
CEI also offers optional services that enhance project delivery when needed. These include coordination of as-built documentation, drone-based site imaging, warranty walk-throughs, and post-construction support. Together, these capabilities allow the Construction Administration Department to support every phase of construction and help clients maintain accountability, schedule integrity, and project quality.
