Railyard Park

CEI provided survey and civil engineering design for the renovation of downtown Rogers Railyard Park. The project consisted of approximately 4.5 acres of active and passive recreation space in the core of downtown Rogers. The design included the renovation of the Farmer’s Market building, relocation of the Frisco Stage, the addition of a food truck court, and a new splash park. The project was challenged by working around operational businesses in the downtown area, an active rail line bisecting the property, and coordination with other street and infrastructure projects under construction simultaneously with the park. The project was completed in 2021.  Winner of the ACEC Arkansas’ Grand Conceptor Award for exceptional engineering.
