Mount Magazine State Park is at Arkansas highest point at 2,735 feet. Known for its sweeping views, it is a place of relaxation, exploration, and nature study. The primary purpose for the project was to design two trail segments that connect the guest cabins to the lodge, consisting of 600 linear feet and a 1,800 linear feet trails. The trail design minimized earthwork and disturbance in forested areas. Mt. Magazine construction encountered springs/seeps that required design of a collection and stabilization system to allow trail construction.
