The fantastic growth in the City of Bentonville was putting a little bit of a ‘squeeze’, literally, on the city’s Police Department staff. In assessing their needs now and planning for ongoing growth, they determined that a hardened Bentonville Call Center would allow them to consolidate their emergency operations in a new facility, with current technology, security, and enhanced reinforcements to assure uninterrupted 24-hour operations under virtually any situation. The new facility freed up some space in the existing PD building, giving current and future staff needed room for normal operations. CEI was proud to be invited to the design team to provide surveying, civil engineering, permitting, landscape architecture, and construction administration for the project.
