Cedar Hill ISD

CEI provided engineering, construction administration and construction observation services for the Cedar Hill ISD Stadium Turf Replacement project in Cedar Hill, Texas. The project included removal and replacement of the existing synthetic turf system at the district stadium and installation of a new shock pad system to improve field performance, player safety and long-term durability.
CEI prepared signed and sealed construction drawings, specifications and procurement documents necessary to support contractor bidding and project implementation. Services included site observations, existing conditions review, development of demolition and surface plans, technical specifications and
preparation of an opinion of probable construction cost. CEI also assisted Cedar Hill ISD during contractor procurement by supporting proposal administration, responding to contractor RFIs, preparing addenda and participating in contractor evaluation activities. During construction, CEI provided construction administration and observation services including submittal review, contractor coordination, pay application review, response to RFIs and biweekly site observations. The project required careful coordination within an active athletic facility environment to support construction sequencing, schedule sensitivity and ongoing district operations. The project was completed with an estimated construction value of approximately $700,000.
