Wayne Gretzky said, “A good hockey player plays where the puck is. A great hockey player plays where the puck is going to be.” It’s a concept I’ve found to be true, both on and off the ice. I strive to stay ahead of the curve, so we are prepared to guide and support our clients with the latest advancements in engineering, technology and development strategies.
Leading the charge for our nationally focused commercial division, I also oversee operations in both our Bentonville, Arkansas, and Fresno, California, offices. A believer in hard work, common sense, and personal accountability, I have over 25 years of commercial/retail land development and civil engineering experience. Working with some of the best talent in the industry, my team is part of Walmart’s “Dream Team,” designing the company’s new 335-acre, state-of-the-art corporate campus.
I have been an integral part of more than five million square feet of commercial development— from one-acre bank sites to the one-million-square-foot Fairlane Green* project. In addition to retail, I have wide-ranging experience across other industries, including hospitality, industrial, medical, office, residential and wetland design projects.
I care deeply about the people with whom I work. Both an approachable leader and a fierce competitor, I challenge myself and my team to exceed expectations, ensure excellence, and work together for a common goal. Whether coaching my son’s hockey team or managing people and projects, I tackle each challenge head-on with dedication and determination that gets the job done.
* Fairlane Green is a commercial redevelopment project constructed on an industrial landfill in Allen Park, Michigan, and is the first gold LEED-certified commercial project in the U.S. For more information go to:
