Joel Hays

Joel started as a civil drafter in 1980 and has enjoyed a myriad of experiences throughout his 40-year career in civil engineering. He finds great pleasure in finding solutions to the different challenges offered regularly in this profession. These experiences include project management, client management, project planning, project coordination, production planning and council presentations. Project types include but are not limited to:

Municipal: Parks, trails, street replacements, storm drainage solutions water lines, sewer lines, ground and elevated water storage, water pump stations, water treatment plant expansions, and wastewater treatment plant expansions for several Texas cities. Observation and inspection provided on several projects.

Distribution: Distribution centers and food distribution centers (prototype and location-specific).

Commercial: Retail centers with multiple anchor stores, small retail centers, small commercial/industrial/retail sites.

Restaurant: Small site drive-through restaurants for different clients.

Industrial: Site engineering representative on a new chemical plant project overseeing drainage, water, laydown yards and parking areas.
